Residential Price Comparison Guide
Applies to Pennsylvania Customers Only
General Instructions:
- When comparing Equitable Gas' price, ask the Supplier to give you the price in dollars per Mcf (thousand cubic feet of gas). Write it in the space marked "Commodity."
- Ask the Supplier if the price includes Equitable Gas' charges. If it does, skip Step 3 and compare the Supplier's price directly to Equitable Gas' Total Cost Per Mcf.
- Add Equitable's Gas Cost Adjustment, Balancing Charge, and Distribution Charges
to find your total per Mcf.
- Compare the prices between Equitable Gas and the Suppliers-consider any incentives or bonus programs offered by the Supplier. Note: Equitable Gas' rate can change quarterly (January 1, April 1, June 1 and October 1) or without notice.
