Choosing a Gas Supplier - Part 1

What does it mean to choose my own gas supplier?

Equitable Gas provides your basic gas service and maintains the gas lines that go to your house. You can choose who supplies your natural gas; you can purchase your gas from Equitable Gas, or you may choose another supplier who is authorized to provide gas to Equitable Gas' customers. The gas you purchase can come from as far away as the Gulf of Mexico, or from as close as the next county. No matter who supplies your gas, Equitable Gas will continue to deliver this gas to your home using our existing lines, and will continue to provide safe and reliable service for you and your family.

Do I have to choose a new gas supplier?

No. You may choose to keep Equitable Gas as your gas supplier. But even if you do choose another gas supplier, Equitable Gas will still be the company that delivers that gas to you. We will still be there to answer your customer service and emergency calls.

What is the advantage of choosing a new gas supplier?

When suppliers compete for your business, you may be able to save money.
