Transportation Nominations

  • Each pool administrator, customer and/or its broker shall provide a nomination of daily volumes of gas to be delivered to Equitable Gas for each month.
  • If a customer is not in a pool and elects to have a broker submit monthly nominations on their behalf, it will be necessary that they furnish Equitable Gas with the appropriate broker agency agreement and/or a letter granting their broker the right to make nominations on their behalf.
  • All nominations must be via Equitable Gas Company's Nomination Online Management System (NOMS). Back-up nominations will be accepted by faxing the attached nomination form to (412) 395-3166 only if the NOMS Systemis unavailable.
  • Nominations are to be specified in dekatherms (dth). The volumes of natural gas transported and delivered by Equitable Gas shall be deemed to be the last gas through the meter for accounting and billing purposes. When determining your nominations, please consider Equitable Gas' allowance for transportation shrinkage which is 6% under our current tariff and the BTU conversion factor.
  • For firm pools RNQ's will be posted not later than 36 hours before Gas Day. RNQ revisions will be posted not later than 24 hours before Gas Day. Nominations that do not match the RNQ will be subject to penalties as outlined in our current tariff.
  • Nominations for the first of each month are due the last working day of the prior month by 12:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
  • Revisions to nominations will be accepted one working day prior to the effective date of the revision, provided that it is received by Equitable Gas before 7:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Nominations can be revised through the last day of the month. Revisions will not be accepted on a weekend or holiday.
  • Any nomination over the contractual maximum daily quantity (MDQ) will not be accepted. Also, nominations must include customer name or pool type, account/contract number, upstream contract number and upstream volume to be accepted.
  • All nominations shall be deemed accepted and transportation volumes scheduled in accordance therewith unless notified by Equitable Gas Company.
